Professor Wai Chen (BM, MPhil(Camb), PhD, MRCP, DCH, MRCP, MRCPsych, FRANZCP) is a consultant psychiatrist with specialist expertise in child, adolescent and youth psychiatry, as well as developmental neuropsychiatry. He received his psychiatry training in the Maudsley Hospital and Institute of Psychiatry (London), and his education from Southampton Medical School, then Corpus Christi College, Cambridge, before completing his PhD at Kings College London. He has relocated to Australia since 2014.
He has over 30 years of clinical experience, and authored multiple books, including a chapter ('Child and adolescent neuropsychiatry') in the 'Oxford Textbook of Neuropsychiatry'.
