Dr Diana Goniszewski, FRANZCP, is a consultant psychiatrist with training and experience across Europe and New Zealand. She completed her medical studies at the Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin and the Warsaw Medical Academy before relocating to New Zealand in 2011 to undertake specialist training in psychiatry. Dr Diana has since gained broad clinical experience across inpatient, community, and consultation-liaison settings, working with neuro-diverse and -typical populations and complex presentations.
Dr Diana has a particular interest in adult and intellectual disability psychiatry, including the assessment and management of women’s mental health, psychotic disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma related disorders and adult ADHD. Her work is guided by a commitment to understanding the unique social, biological, and psychological factors that influence mental health. She has a strong focus on collaborative care and values multidisciplinary teamwork to optimise patient outcomes.
