Dr Sara Buten

Dr Sara Buten is a highly qualified psychiatrist with extensive experience in the field of mental health and adult psychiatry. She completed her registrar training in psychiatry in Sydney, Australia and has since worked in various inpatient and outpatient settings in both public and private sectors, including telehealth.

Dr Buten has a special interest in mood, anxiety, psychotic and trauma related disorders. She enjoys working in a collaborative framework, including a thorough assessment to develop comprehensive and holistic management plans which include biological and psychological treatment options.

She has extensive experience in general psychiatry and enjoys working within a recovery focused model and to include a multidisciplinary team approach.
