Dr Angela Okungu has extensive experience both across the public sector and in private practice, having worked in the health system within South Australia for over 15 years. As a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists, Dr Okungu strongly believes a collaborative approach amongst health professionals is crucial in helping patients along their journey to recovery.

She completed her undergraduate medical studies at the University of Adelaide and her psychiatry registrar training in the major metropolitan hospitals in South Australia. Her area of interest lies in general psychiatry, adult mental health, with experience and special interest in acute care, mood disorders, psychosis, anxiety, grief, trauma and neurodiversity.
